Bhediya Movie Review - Bollywood Petals

 For Bhediya, the initial start was low, if not good. Also, the initial reaction from neutral audiences was a mix of thumbs up for the attempt, but lacked the sense that the movie was missing something. Starts used to be in double digits, but now it looks like the film will be far below the expected opening.

Speaking of positives, this film is an honest (though not new) attempt by Bollywood to create a sense of nature that will likely appeal to many. It’s a treat for kids, as the themes, humor, and overall structure keep them hooked. There’s nothing gross in it, so this is a great movie for families.

Bhediya scores in the VFX department and is an advantage when there is VFX hype in the market. Speaking of competition, the movie is enjoying a solo release today. Also coming out next week is Ayushmann Khurrana’s action hero, which appears to be a niche film. Avatar: Way of Water is the only major upcoming competition, also launching on December 16th.
