Shehzada Teaser Review - Bollywood Petals

 

There is a golden rule in cinema. If actors can’t perform, then the story can save the movie and if the story is not powerful, a good actor can help the movie survive. The best example of the 2nd scenario is the movie Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. There was a time when the whole Bollywood tried to stop the release of the Hindi dubbed version of that film. And now the Hindi remake of this movie, Shehzada is out with its first look. Viewers are not happy with how this is going. And the teaser is not gonna help it either. In the whole 1 minute teaser, we only saw Kartik Aaryan trying very hard to copy Allu Arjun. The unique style of Kartik Aaryan is totally missing from his character in the teaser. Not only the scenes but even the names of the characters are the same.

Before we move further, let’s take a look at Allu Arjun’s Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo and why it was successful in theaters. It was all because of Allu Arjun’s style, swag and his superior acting skills. On the other hand, there was no powerful story in that movie. It was nothing outstanding or unique. No next level twist and turns. Simple romance with good old family drama.
